The Parque Eólico Litueche SpA is the first wind energy project in Patrimonium’s portfolio of prospects to obtain the corresponding environmental approval. Developed by Plan 8 GmbH, through its Chilean subsidiary Plan 8 Energía Infinita Ltda, this project aims to harness the significant wind potential of the province of Cardenal Caro, specifically in the commune of Litueche and its surroundings. It is estimated that the park will generate 138 MW of clean energy through the installation of 30 wind turbines, substantially contributing to the advancement of renewable energies in the region.
In 2023, Statkraft acquired the project with the intention of increasing the installed capacity of its existing wind farms in the area by 130%. Currently, Statkraft operates three wind farms in the Litueche area, which together have a total capacity of 105 MW. With this acquisition, the company reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and the transition towards cleaner energy sources:

The incorporation of Parque Eólico Litueche SpA, which will provide approximately an additional 450 GWh of annual electrical energy, will enable Statkraft to consolidate its presence and strengthen its contribution to Chile’s sustainable energy development.
Project Details:
- Wind Turbines:
- 30 wind turbines will be installed.
- They will be connected via an underground medium voltage network (33 kV) that will conduct the generated energy to the Litueche Substation.
- Litueche Substation:
- Responsible for stepping up the voltage of the generated energy for transmission.
- Construction of a 220 kV High Voltage Line (HVL), extending 11.4 kilometers to the Loica Substation.
- Duration and Operation:
- Estimated useful life of 30 years, with construction starting in 2025.
- Will generate 150-200 direct jobs during construction and 10 permanent jobs during operation.
- Objectives and Contributions:
- Contribute to the energy transition and decarbonization of Chile's energy system.
- Contribute to the economic development of the region and the country.
This wind farm, with a projected investment of US$150 million, is part of the push by the O’Higgins region to become a benchmark in Chile's renewable energies.
Timeline:
- 2011:
- In April, the first owner of the sector offered his lands in Litueche to Patrimonium, provided the information through our portal, and we began data collection.
- In September, the German developer company Plan 8 GmbH initiated negotiations with Alejandro Herrera from Patrimonium to acquire his portfolio of prospects, among which is the future Parque Eólico Litueche SpA, as well as to access their reverse search system.
- In October, Plan 8 GmbH and Alejandro Herrera reached a financial agreement and signed a contract. Subsequently, the portfolio of prospects was delivered to Plan 8 GmbH, including those that will become Parque Eólico Litueche SpA and Parque Eólico Culenco SpA. Additionally, the processing of information began according to the requests of the German company.
- In November, Plan 8 GmbH started the corresponding studies for the Litueche Wind Project prospect and evaluated its potential development.
- 2012:
- Significant progress was achieved in studies and negotiations with the landowners of the sector.
- In September, the first contracts were signed with the landowners where the project will be located.
- 2017:
- Continuing progress with the procedures.
- The Environmental Impact Study (DIA) of Parque Eólico Litueche SpA was submitted to the Environmental Evaluation System (SEA) of the O’Higgins Region.
- 2018: On February 21, the addendum submitted on September 2, 2018, and the complementary addendum submitted on December 20, 2018, of the “Parque Eólico Litueche” Project, presented by PLAN 8 Energía Infinita Ltda., were admitted for processing.
- 2019: Environmental Approval:
- On February 7, the Regional Environmental Evaluation Commission of O’Higgins approved the Environmental Impact Declaration (DIA) of the Parque Eólico Litueche SpA project through Exempt Resolution No. 1/2019.
- The project received authorization to proceed with construction.
- 2021: In September, the definitive concession was granted to establish the 1X220 kV Litueche-Loica power line in the O’Higgins Region, Cardenal Caro Province, Litueche Commune. The projected electrical line will extend 11,436.88 meters, with an electrical easement of 11,280 meters and an area of 385,359 m². The budget for the works amounts to 3,132,424,952 Chilean pesos.
- 2023: In November, the project was acquired by Statkraft, and construction is expected to begin in 2025.

El Parque Eólico Litueche SpA constituye el primer proyecto de energía eólica en la cartera de prospectos de Patrimonium que ha obtenido la aprobación ambiental correspondiente. Desarrollado por Plan 8 GmbH, a través de su filial chilena Plan 8 Energía Infinita Ltda, este proyecto busca aprovechar el significativo potencial eólico de la provincia de Cardenal Caro, específicamente en la comuna de Litueche y sus alrededores. Se estima que el parque generará 138 MW de energía limpia mediante la instalación de 30 aerogeneradores, contribuyendo de manera sustancial al impulso de las energías renovables en la región.
En 2023, Statkraft adquirió el proyecto con la intención de incrementar en un 130% la capacidad instalada de sus parques eólicos existentes en la zona. Actualmente, Statkraft opera tres parques eólicos en el área de Litueche, que en conjunto suman una capacidad total de 105 MW. Con esta adquisición, la empresa reafirma su compromiso con la sostenibilidad y la transición hacia fuentes de energía más limpias:

Detalles del Proyecto:
- Aerogeneradores:
- Se instalarán 30 aerogeneradores.
- Estarán conectados mediante una red soterrada de media tensión (33 kV) que conducirá la energía generada hasta la Subestación Litueche.
- Subestación Litueche:
- Será responsable de elevar la tensión de la energía generada para su transmisión.
- Construcción de una Línea de Alta Tensión (LAT) de 220 kV, con una extensión de 11,5 kilómetros hasta la Subestación Seccionadora Las Delicias.
- Duración y operación:
- Vida útil estimada de 30 años, con inicio de construcción en el 2025.
- Generará 150-200 empleos directos durante la construcción y 10 empleos permanentes durante la operación.
- Objetivos y contribuciones:
- Contribuir a la transición energética y descarbonización del sistema energético.
- Aportar al desarrollo económico de la región y al país.
Este parque eólico, con una inversión proyectada de US$150 millones, es parte del impulso de la región de O’Higgins para convertirse en un referente en energías renovables de Chile.
Cronograma:
- 2011:
- En abril, el primer propietario del sector ofreció sus terrenos en Litueche a Patrimonium, facilitó la información a través de nuestro portal y comenzamos la recopilación de datos.
- En septiembre, la empresa desarrolladora alemana Plan 8 GmbH inició negociaciones con Alejandro Herrera de Patrimonium para adquirir su cartera de prospectos, entre los cuales se encuentra el futuro Parque Eólico Litueche SpA, así como para acceder a su sistema de búsqueda inversa.
- En octubre, Plan 8 GmbH y Alejandro Herrera alcanzaron un acuerdo económico y firmaron un contrato. Posteriormente, se comenzó a entregar la cartera de prospectos a Plan 8 GmbH, incluyendo aquellos que se convertirán en el Parque Eólico Litueche SpA y Parque Eólico Culenco SpA. Además, se inició el procesamiento de la información conforme a las solicitudes de la compañía alemana.
- En noviembre, Plan 8 GmbH inició los estudios correspondientes al prospecto Proyecto Eólico Litueche SpA y evaluó su posible desarrollo.
- 2012:
- Se logró un avance significativo en los estudios y en las negociaciones con los propietarios del sector.
- En septiembre, se firmaron los primeros contratos con los propietarios de los terrenos donde se emplazará el proyecto.
- 2017:
- Se continúa avanzando con las tramitaciones.
- El Estudio de Impacto Ambiental (DIA) del Parque Eólico Litueche SpA ha sido presentado al Sistema de Evaluación Ambiental (SEA) de la Región de O’Higgins.
- 2018: El 21 de febrero, la adenda presentada el 2 de septiembre de 2018 y la adenda complementaria presentada el 20 de diciembre de 2018 del Proyecto “Parque Eólico Litueche”, presentado por PLAN 8 Energía Infinita Ltda., fueron admitidas a trámite.
- 2019: Aprobación Ambiental:
- El 7 de febrero, la Comisión Regional de Evaluación Ambiental de O’Higgins aprobó la Declaración de Impacto Ambiental (DIA) del proyecto Parque Eólico Litueche SpA mediante la Resolución Exenta Nº 1/2019.
- El proyecto ha recibido la autorización para proceder con la construcción.
- 2021: En septiembre, se otorgó la concesión definitiva para establecer la línea eléctrica 1X220 kV Litueche-Loica en la Región de O’Higgins, provincia de Cardenal Caro, comuna de Litueche. La línea eléctrica proyectada tendrá una extensión de 11.436,88 metros, con una servidumbre eléctrica de 11.280 metros y una superficie de 385.359 m². El presupuesto para las obras asciende a $3.132.424.952 pesos chilenos.
- 2023: En noviembre, el proyecto fue adquirido por la empresa Statkraft y se estima que la construcción dará inicio en 2025.

Parque Eólico Litueche SpA ist das erste Windenergieprojekt im Portfolio von Patrimonium, das die erforderliche Umweltgenehmigung erhalten hat. Entwickelt von Plan 8 GmbH über seine chilenische Tochtergesellschaft Plan 8 Energía Infinita Ltda, zielt dieses Projekt darauf ab, das bedeutende Windpotenzial der Provinz Cardenal Caro, insbesondere in der Gemeinde Litueche und deren Umgebung, zu nutzen. Chronogramm:
- 2011:
- Im April bot der erste Eigentümer des Sektors seine Grundstücke in Litueche Patrimonium an, stellte die Informationen über unser Portal bereit und wir begannen mit der Datensammlung.
- Im September begann das deutsche Entwicklerunternehmen Plan 8 GmbH Verhandlungen mit Alejandro Herrera von Patrimonium, um sein Portfolio an Prospekten zu erwerben, darunter das zukünftige Parque Eólico Litueche SpA, sowie um Zugang zu seinem Reverse-Search-System zu erhalten.
- Im Oktober erreichten Plan 8 GmbH und Alejandro Herrera eine finanzielle Vereinbarung und unterzeichneten einen Vertrag. Anschließend wurde das Portfolio an Prospekten an Plan 8 GmbH übergeben, einschließlich derjenigen, die sich in den Parque Eólico Litueche SpA und Parque Eólico Culenco SpA materialisieren werden. Darüber hinaus begann die Verarbeitung der Informationen gemäß den Anfragen des deutschen Unternehmens.

- Die Umweltverträglichkeitsstudie (DIA) des Parque Eólico Litueche SpA wurde dem Umweltbewertungssystem (SEA) der Region O’Higgins vorgelegt.
- 2018: Am 21. Februar wurden die am 2. September 2018 eingereichte Zusatzvereinbarung und die am 20. Dezember 2018 eingereichte ergänzende Zusatzvereinbarung des Projekts „Parque Eólico Litueche“, vorgestellt von PLAN 8 Energía Infinita Ltda., zur Bearbeitung angenommen.
- 2019: Umweltgenehmigung:
- Am 7. Februar genehmigte die Regionale Umweltbewertungskommission von O’Higgins die Umweltverträglichkeits-Erklärung (DIA) des Projekts Parque Eólico Litueche SpA durch die Exempt Resolution Nr. 1/2019.
- Das Projekt erhielt die Genehmigung, mit dem Bau zu beginnen.
- 2021: Im September wurde die endgültige Konzession zur Errichtung der 1X220 kV Litueche-Loica Stromleitung in der Region O’Higgins, Provinz Cardenal Caro, Gemeinde Litueche, erteilt. Die geplante Stromleitung wird eine Länge von 11.436,88 Metern erreichen, mit einer elektrischen Dienstbarkeit von 11.280 Metern und einer Fläche von 385.359 m². Das Budget für die Bauarbeiten beläuft sich auf 3.132.424.952 chilenische Pesos.
